Ph. D. Student interest

The purpose of this work is to evaluate the interaction necessities in the laboratory and in the different types of workbenches in the education sector.

  1. The research focused on the analysis of interactivity in virtual environments. More details at I.V.E.T. project
  2. The study implements their experiments with learners from 3 Vocational Training Center (VTC).
  3. The aim is to design a virtualization architecture for the optimization of services and resources, which allows the setting up of online environments in order to facilitate the creation, edition and sharing of interactive content in the education sector.
  4. There are many reasons to believe that this work has many clear, and obvious advantages, especially in education, such as:
  • Increased content understanding.
  • Learning spatial structure and function.
  • Learning language associations.
  • Long-term memory retention.
  • Improved physical task performance.
  • Improved collaboration.
  • Increased student motivation.
